The Black Bean Story
In the fairy tale, the dreamy, good-hearted hero is given a magical pot by a sleepy genie in a well which, in his generosity, he happily shares with his neighbors.
But some people, like our hero’s neighbor, are never satisfied. Will she be punished? Will the sleepy genie help out our hero again?
This is a Moroccan folk tale adapted for theater, set inside an exquisite Moroccan dowry chest in the magical spirit of One Thousand and One Arabian Nights.
From the reviews
The play is full of character and shows great proficiency; the music and scenery recreate the atmosphere of Morocco admirably. I very much enjoyed itBoaz Evron, Yediot Aharonot
