Séance
Dekoltas HandwerkBased on the fictitious diary of Guy de Maupassants “Le Horla”
Séance tries to catch the uncanny presence of what is absent. What is it exactly that surrounds us? Do we control things, or do things control us? A mind lost in lunacy, stuck in the past; a mind chasing after evil, moving between darkness and light.
A play combining objects, evil sounds and deceptive lighting.
This production won 2015 the Fritz-Wortelmannpreis of the German Puppetry Department Fidena and the city of Bochum for the best professional offspring.
