A satellite solo. A stubborn attempt to settle down.

I'm listening to The Planets, an orchestral suite by Gustav Holst.

Do you hear it through me?

I listen beyond the sounds and hear a composer writing during a bloody war to which he was not recruited. His music becomes movement on the stage – it turns, distorts, disappears and reappears.

I split myself to measure the different distances around me and inside me, tracking the gap between sending my messages and their arrival. Am I the satellite or the star?

A revealing show in which movement, text, objects, and sound are used to touch on questions of home, distance, and creativity in times of war.
