An old man, sensing that his life was coming to an end, retires to the forest to find a place to die. There he meets a boy, who has always grown up and lived there.

The old man carries with him a heavy burden of past regrets, longing, and the fear of what he feels all over his body that is about to happen.

The boy, who is connected to his surroundings with all his might, is present in the joy of nature and the here and now.

The forest around them is sizzling and happening, constantly changing – light and dark, cold and heat; provides danger and protection, a place to play and shelter.

A puppet show for adults, without words, about the power of life and the power of death when nature is a witness to human drama.
