Intro to Puppet Cinema Workshop - Digital show & Online workshop

The Zoom live meeting and workshop will take place on Tuesday 15/12/20 at 16:00 , and will be hosted by Ayelet Golan and Omri Raveh.

Please be equipped with: 

3-4 small objects from the home environment, preferably ones that look like characters (for example: barbie dolls, lego characters, gummy bears…)
A charged cell phone with a working camera
A working computer camera
Optional: a pocket flashlight

About the show - A taste of a video clip about the show PLANT EGG. Watch ten exciting minutes of adventures in outer space, with music and puppets. 

About the workshop - Why is a walnut ascending the sink?
How will an ant climb to the top of the arm chair?
And will the puzzle piece that went missing find its relatives in a shoebox???

In the workshop we’ll photograph tiny characters in realistic worlds and discuss the tension between a character and the world in which they exist. We’ll get a taste of basic photography principles like perspective, light and shadow, color, composition. 

We’ll mostly see how a picture can provide a whole story. All this using Puppet Cinema language, which combines puppets and objects, camera and operator.
