In 1948 in Bochum, Germany, Fritz Wortelmann– a resident of the city and an avid lover of puppet theater – began collecting an extraordinary collection of items from the world of puppet theater. Out of passion and curiosity, he has preserved many characters, scripts, and artifacts that tell the story of rich and diverse puppet traditions worldwide.

Now, more than 70 years later, through virtual reality (VR) glasses, you are invited to visit the Wortelmann Collection and view a unique and spectacular window into the magical world of dolls, which is appreciated and admired by many visitors all over the world.
A virtual tour for one viewer, in one of the most beautiful doll collections in the world.
