The Train Theater is unique in the Israeli children’s theater landscape and is a leader in its field.

The Theater is introducing its first Dalia Yaffe-Maayan Conference for Children’s Culture – “How do you spell child?” This conference is intended for a professional audience of people who deal with children’s culture in all fields, including art, stage arts, therapeutic arts, educators, television, literature, and students in all relevant subjects. It is an interdisciplinary conference that will take place each year on International Children’s Day, starting November 20th. The conference aims to deepen important questions arising from the culture that is currently made for children. The role of culture in the resilience of a healthy society has been a highly discussed topic, but its creation, especially for the younger generation whose reality has changed considerably in the last years, is of great importance in the shaping of the future generation. We will discuss this topic and many others at the upcoming conference, which will become an annual tradition on international children’s day”.
