Dear audience and distinguished guests:

The Train Theater is delighted to host a double celebration. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Puppet Festival, and we are also delighted to celebrate the realization of our dream to build a permanent, dedicated theater in Jerusalem’s Liberty Bell Park. We are grateful to the Davidson family, our London benefactors, who contributed greatly through the Jerusalem Fund to the theater’s construction.

Each year, leading artists and their puppets gather from across the globe for their annual meeting in Jerusalem which has become a tradition in the puppet theater world, drawing participants from as far away as France, Germany, Spain, China and Israel.

This year, the Festival theme is the animal kingdom which inspires our world and the world of creation. We are proud to present our special Festival production of “ZOOOO? You wouldn't have a clue!” This is a very special event with multidisciplinary artists creating animals you won’t meet anywhere else!

During Festival evenings in the Khan’s courtyard, come celebrate with wine and cake, along with the puppets of musical theater and live music in honor of our birthday celebrations.

The Festival is delighted to host once again the annual ‘’International Exposure’’ events with the generous support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Division for Cultural and Scientific Affairs.

We would also like to say a special thank you to the members of the General Assembly Committee of the Train Theater, the Governing Council, and in particular to the Chairman, Attorney Koby Amster, as well as to members of the Artistic Committee and other societies and organizations who work in collaboration with the Festival.
