Madam Kloom is a friendly homeless person who is happy and content with her life and loves to tell stories to people passing by. A shopping cart contains her whole world, and she invents amazing relationships with everything she has collected.

At a clownish pace, Madam Kloom restages “The Fisherman and the Golden Fish" legend. And like all tales, she knows it must have a happy ending, just like her own.

What the Critics Say

Central to the play, the legend of "The Fisherman and the Golden Fish," is a friendly homeless person, whose worldly possessions she keeps in a shopping cart, who tells the story of her fall from a life of plenty to a life in the streets.  There is no heart-wrenching plot; on the contrary, the clownish acting and the mischievous use of objects and materials actually emphasize the richness of finding the simple things in life...Noga Shavit Cohen, Haaretz

The play was outstanding in its content and creativity in conveying the subject of recycling and the repeat use of objects, as well as its suitability to the audience.  The actress, Rinat, was stunning, talented and great with the kids.  Many thanks.Keren, Director for Early Education, Kibbutz Hasolelim

The play was amazing!  The execution was amazing!  It's been a long time since I’ve seen such creativity bursting from every scene in the play, stimulating different levels of consciousness in the spectator. The subject of recycling, both from the artistic perspective and the narrative, is so true…  Thank you very much!  You made our Purim wonderful!  We had a wonderful experience, with your help.  This was our first encounter with the Train Theater, and now we look forward to future shows with such excellent "taste.Janna Bloch, a spectator
