Adam Yakin Adam Yakin
Graduated the Jean l'Coque International School were he specialized in the Teatre du Soliel. Acted for the Pandor Theater in Paris. Graduated from the The Sam Speigal Film and Television School in Jerusalem. 
For several years he built the  decoration of the Israel Festival for Piter Brook’s “carmen”, “Richard the third”and more.
Wrote, designed and directed children’s shows in cooperation with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, among those the opera “The Magic Flute”.
In the Train Theater directed "Hide and Seek" Created and acted in Elvis, a street performance in collaboration with Jaque and Elmer.

Alina Ashbel Alina Ashbel
Born in 1948 in Israel.
 Completed her B.A. in Art History and Theater at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In 1978, she founded the Bu-Badim Puppet Theater with Smadar Tirosh and created the "Funnel Show".
In 1981, Alina was among the founding members of the Train Theater. This became the home and the base for her professional and artistic life. She and her founding friends were very involved in shaping the theater; its administration, principals, artistic character and development. Her creations involve the whole process from idea to performance including; choosing the material, designing, directing and performing, adapting and sometimes writing the text. Over the years, she created many works: "Entanglement: The Wool Story", "The Tin War", "The Nightingale", "Crown of Feathers", "A Girl in a Flower pot”.
Over the years she has taught puppetry at the Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum. School of Visual Theater, The Kibbutzim College of Education and The Shenkar School of Design.
Her puppets have participated in exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum - Helena Rubenstein Pavilion, Haifa Museum, Yad l'Banim in Holon and the Jerusalem Theater Foyer Gallery.
For the past few years she has dedicated her main creative energy in developing a unique program of private performances for hospitalized children. Her last work “Ma-Inan”- a performance characterized as a personal ceremony- was part of the “Public Work” project in the International Puppet Festival in Jerusalem.

Avi Binyamin Avi Binyamin
Started as a classic pianist. Composes music to theater, cinema and commercials. Today works with the “Gesher” theater.

Avital Dvory Avital Dvory
Born in Israel, 1974Actress, puppeteer and story teller. Studied I the Central School for Speech and Drama, London. M.A. In the arts of performance with a specialty of physical theater and puppet and objects theater. In London, worked with Theater-Rites and Theater Centre as a puppeteer and a dancer and took part in their tours in England, Scotland and Japan. Worked with “Circus Bimyamina” as part of the Free Arts Project and participated in the production of “Peace coffee”- a cooperation of Arab and Jewish artists in the Circa Festival in France. Directed  the show “The Journey to the Magical sound”. Directed puppets in the Nola Chelton production “Winter in Calandia”.In the Train Theater created and performs, together with the Daedalus company, the show “Stumble Onto”, winner of the best show prise in the Haifa Festival 2001. the show participated in international festivals in Europe. Created and performs the street show “Little Red Riding Hood’s Wolf”.Today, works as a medical clown, as part of Doctors of a Dream Project, in the “Emek” hospital in Afula and teaches puppet and objects activation, physical theater and body language.

Daniel Eichenberger Daniel Eichenberger
Professional carpenter. Studied sculpture in the Geneva Art School. Musician. Participated as actor in the play " Fernheim " based on the story by S. Y. Agnon. (Awarded First Prize "Stranger-Artist Festival"). Teaches sculpture at the Jerusalem Bi-Lingual School.

Fa Chu Fa Chu
Born in China, raised in Brazil, studied theater and dance, immigrated to Israel in 1975. Directed heater and lectured on directing, movement and visual theater at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Lectures on dance and drama at the David Yellin Teachers College of Education in Jerusalem.

Galia Levi-Grad Galia Levi-Grad
Born in Marseilles, France, in 1958. Studied at the Art Department of the Bezalel Academy of Art. Graduate of the Ramat-Hashron Art Institute, the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem and Story Telling at Beit Ariela. Has been a member of the Train Theater Artist Staff since 1989. Adaptation, design and performance: "Alilot Ramah" (shadow theater), "Cinderella in Glass" (object theater for adults), "Tsfardiha" (children's theater).Developed variations of story theater and performs them at the Train Theater. Teaches puppetry to puppet theaters, teachers and childcare workers. Uses puppetry to work with special-needs children such as autistic children and others. Wrote and illustrated the children's book "Tsafuf", published in 1999.

Hadas Gertman Hadas Gertman
Performance artist and costume designer. Participates in inter-media festivals such as "Phenomena" and "Irpul". Performs at various galleries and museums. Creates body and clothing sculptures. Teaches performance art, stage work with various materials, objects, costumes and paper work techniques. Has served in a range of positions including set construction and design as well as costumes and props for television and dance. Graduate of the School of Visual Theater.

Itay Rosenbaum Itay Rosenbaum
Born in Jerusalem. Composer, pianist and teacher.
Graduated the Bekley Collage of Music.
Participated as a composer  and adapter in many jazz and pop ansambles, among those “neighbor-sound” company and “Atraf” company. Acted as musical director and player  in the “Ilana, Alya  and Jubalio” ensemble and now lead the original Jazz ensemble “The Yellow Submarine”,  which released a first disc and performed in the Red Sea Festival 2001, the Israel festival 2002 and more.
He founded direct the music section in the Yellow Submarine in Jerusalem. Wrote many pieces of  modern music, dance, theater, short films and symphony adaptations. Lead  workshops in “Helicon” and the “Poetry Promotion Association” and constantly guide the young musicians workshops of Mishkenot Shaananim Music Center.

Jack Shvili Jack Shvili
Born in Israel in 1957. Graduate of the Nissan Nativ School of Acting. Worked with the Cameri Theater, Simtah Theater, Yeladim ve'Noar Theater, and the Rina Yerushalmi Actors Group. A member of the Train Theater Artist Staff. Teaches theater to special-needs children at various community institutions.

Jonathan Ben-haim Jonathan Ben-haim
Jonathan Ben Haim was born in Morocco. Immigrated to Israel in 1967. Studied social anthropology at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem In 1971 he part in the founding group of the Kav Theater in Jerusalem, which produced "Escorial" and in 1973 created a drama based on a Greek Tragedy upon the backdrop of the Yom Kippur War. Later, Kav Theater created children's theater, puppet theater for adults and theater for objects and actors. As time passed the Kav group developed from an actor's theater to abstract work with objects and puppets. In 1981, together with the Box Theater, Mish Mish Theater, and a member of the "Bu-Badim Theater" they established the Train Theater in Jerusalem. Jonathan performs "Black Bean Story" in Arabic combining a storyteller and hand puppets bringing to life the legend of "One thousand and One Nights". After years of experience as an actor, hand puppetry and giant puppets, Jonathan is now the story teller in "Hats Hats Hats", "The Black Bean Story", "Pinocchio Stories or the Music Box", "Who's Afraid of the Bogey Man" and more.

Luna Beate Kamm Luna Beate Kamm
Born in Germany, 1967. Has worked as sculptor, in street theater and in cabaret. Graduate of the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem. Actor, designer and puppet maker. Teaches puppetry and art at the Jerusalem Bi-Lingual School.

Manuel Klideman Manuel Klideman
Student at the E.N.S.B.A. Beaux Art in Paris. Graduate of the College of Painting and Engraving. During the past ten year constructs stage sets for different theaters in Israel (opera, ballet and puppet theaters). Participated in various festivals in Jerusalem, Canada, Morocco and France. Cooperated with the Train Theater in "The Black Bean Story" and "Rosal&eactute; and Feivel&eactute;'s Wagon".

Marcelo Pilavsky Marcelo Pilavsky
Musician. Studied composing and orchestration in the Argentinean Catholic University. Teaches music for theater in the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem and in the Sound engineering department in the Negev College. Performed in concerts in Israel and abroad and participated  in international festivals as a composer and musical director of theater productions.
Recently composes music for the Israeli Television’s films.

Myriam Salzberg Myriam Salzberg
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1964. Studied psychology at the Salvador University in Buenos Aires and taught folk dancing. Immigrated to Israel in 1990. In 1995 graduated with honors from the School of Visual Theater. Her graduation production, "I Killed Tommy", has participated in festivals worldwide. In 1994 performed and participated in the production of the Train Theater's "The Marzipan Fairy". Designed puppets for the film "Kesher Ir". In 2000-2001 created the play "Filling the Pillows" together with Tsipor Frumkin in the framework of the Train Theater. Today she is an active artist in the Train Theater, teaches puppetry to children and uses puppets in psychotherapy.

Naomi Pulver Naomi Pulver
Has performed with the Train Theater since it's inception. Acted in many children's theater plays in various styles. ("The King and the Moon", "Spicy Meals", "Strange Friends", "Jeremiah the Mouse". "Hats Hats Hats" and more.) Naomi performed in street theater with "Rosal&eactute; and Feivel&eactute;'s Wagon" that was created for the Israel Festival as well with "Magic Peep Show", "Royal Street Play" and with Story Theater. She translates the stories and adapts them adding songs and music. She has published a CD of stories produced by the Train Theater together with Maya Ashbel-Wide and the musician Marecel Pilevsky.

Nathalia Rosenthal Nathalia Rosenthal
Graduate of the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem. Designed and performed with the puppets in "Secrets in the Palace" during her studies. Since graduation she has designed puppets and scenery for many of the Train Theater productions as well as for other theaters including "The Legend of Yerusha-Layim". , "Roseta", "The Beauty and the Beast", "The Marzipan Fairy", "Al Kasaba Theater" and more.

Nili Gufnan Nili Gufnan
Actor and storyteller with her own solo theater for adults and children, performs all over Israel with "Tell me, Nili" and "Bustan HaSipurim" - stories and music in collaboration with various musicians. Graduate of the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem. Studied dance at the Rubin Academy of Dance and Music in Jerusalem and alternative theater at the Acco Theater. Performed at the Acco Festival for Alternative Theater (1993, 1995, 1997), at the Storytellers Festival (1997) and the Masah HaKesem Festival (2001) in Holon. Premiered "The Queen's Daughter and the Moon" at the 10th International Festival of Puppet Theater.

Patricia O\'Donovan Patricia O\'Donovan
Born in Argentina and immigrated to Israel in 1978. Graduated from the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem. Certified in Stage Arts by the University of California at Santa Cruz, USA, (1989-1990) and holds a doctorate in zoology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1988). Patricia has taught theater to children and kindergarten teachers at the Youth Wing of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem since 1983 and classes at youth centers all over Israel. Patricia combines her work in science and as an artist by writing, designing, directing, acting and puppetry. Her works include: "Father ate a Tiger", "Hanuman the White Monkey", "A Touch of Light" for the Train Theater and "Hanging in the Sky" for the Israel Science Museum, Jerusalem. Her new play, "Zeus" was commissioned by the Israel Museum for the " Exhibition of Heroes ".

Rachel Yatzkin Rachel Yatzkin
Studied at the Rimon Music School under the composer Eitan Steinberg. Plays saxophone and leads various jazz bands. Composes and plays jazz, rock and modern music. Included in her works are: "Tonight We Dance" at the "Acco Festival" for which she received a commendation, "King Lear" 1993 at the Ramat Gan Theater , "Don't Kill Don Quixote" (1994) Habamah Theater, Jerusalem, and "A Touch of Light" (1994) at the Train Theater.

Roni Mosenson-Nelken Roni Mosenson-Nelken
One of the outstanding artists of the Train Theater since 1983. Wrote, designed and performed many and varied plays including "The Fisherman and Genie", "Golden Hair", "The Legend of Yerusha-Layim". Performed in theaters around Israel and festivals abroad as well as in various television shows with the character she created: Yossef and Baruch. Theaches at the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem.

Sharon Bar-Ezer Sharon Bar-Ezer
Graduate of the School of Visual Theater. Her first play "Tea for Two" was performed in Germany. Her graduation piece, "Mr. Mrs. Forsythe", won first prize from the office of the Mayor of Jerusalem, was performed at the Phenomena Festival in Jerusalem (1996), UNIMA Festival in France, in Germany, Poland and in Ljubljana. Her works were part of the puppet theater exhibition at the Israel Festival in Jerusalem. Works at the Train Theater and works as a puppeteer for various television shows including the political satire series "Hartzufim" and for the program "Fox Yard" and for the "Bigbigim".

Graduated directing and theater teaching in Seminar Ha’Kibutzim. Graduated  M.A.  in Theater and Gender studies in the Hebrew University
At the Train Theater - creator and participate in the show “Stumble Onto” with the Daedalus Company. The Show won first prize in the Haifa Festival, 2001 and since than participated in festivals in Israel and all around the world.
Participated in various shows in the television, teaches theater in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, spokesperson of the Association of Rape Crisis Center in Israel.

Tzipor Frumkin Tzipor Frumkin
Born in Jerusalem in 1967. Graduated from the School of Visual Theater in 1991. Collaborated with another student in creating their graduation work called "Och, Christos", participated in festivals in Germany and in Jerusalem. In 1990 took part in the children's play "Secrets of the Palace" at the Train Theater. In 1994 collaborated on the making of "The Marzipan Fairy" for the Train Theater and in 1995 collaborated with Myriam Salzberg on "I Killed Tommy" which continues to be performed at festivals worldwide. In 2000-2001 created the play "Filling the Pillows" with Myriam Salzberg for the Train Theater, where she continues performing.

Yifat Maor Yifat Maor
Born in Kibbutz Hamadia in 1972. A graduate of the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem, and studies at the David Yellin College of Education. Performed in Israel and abroad with her shows “The days of drought and blight” (a graduation project) and “Peeling”, which won different prizes.
Yifat is a puppeteer, a story teller and a teacher. She gives creation workshops and performs in puppet theater and story-telling for all ages.
Today lives and works in berlin, Germany.

Yitzhak and Ester Pecker Yitzhak and Ester Pecker
Studied puppet theater at the Leningrad Institute of Theater Music and Film. After graduation, they worked with puppetry in Leningrad Legend Theater and at Sergei Obraztsov State Central Puppet Theater of Moscow. Immigrated to Israel in 1979 and began working with Eric Smith's Puppet Theater. Helped establish the Beit Hagefen Puppet Theater in Haifa. Working as artists with the Train Theater for 14 years. Among their creations: "Dragon Dragon", "The Curious Elephant", "Trained Animals at the Puppet Theater", "Quick Goose", and "Hide and Seek".
