Yeung Fai’s personal story as a Chinese master glove puppeteer is interwoven with the story of China: the Cultural Revolution, which outlawed of his art and his father’s imprisonment in a forced labor camp.

Assisted by poetic images which combine emotion, sound, and virtuoso puppeteering, it follows his journey to the West in search of personal and artistic freedom ― a heart-warming story of migration from one culture to another.
